The ex Fugees singer, Lauryn Hill 37, has been sentenced to 3 months in prison for failing to pay her taxes. This action was carried out after it was found that Lauryn didn't pay taxes on her on 1.2million pounds of her earnings between 2005-07.
She claimed to have already paid 600,000 pounds of the skipped taxes. She pleaded guilty of charges last year and had intended paying the balance but due to her withdrawal from the limelight to cater for her kids which are 6 in number, she was unable to.
Lauryn has been ordered to report to prison on 8th July. Her career began with Grammy band Fugees where she worked alongside Wyclef Jean.
Aww..this is so bad and i feel so bad for her..arrested for not paying taxes? wow America, it is well with you people. Do they arrest here in Nigeria? Lol...that is if you will even see who to arrest..Lol..
