The Jigawa State Deputy Speaker, Sule Udi of the Ringim constituency, lost his life in a car accident enroute Ringim from Kano this evening. He will be buried tomorrow morning according to Islamic rites.

Also, the special assistant to the Benue State Governor on security issues Patrick Gwar, died today after slumping down in government house in Makurdi. He died before adequate help could reach him. The unfortunate incident occurred at exactly 2pm on Thursday in one of the rooms located within the office of the Chief of Staff to the governor, Prof. Saint Gbilekaa.
Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer for the Forum of Governor’s Aides, Comrade Samuel Adzegeh, described the deceased as a very dedicated and committed man.
