We all know about the on and off relationship that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been having off late, so many of their fans want them back and even Justin's mum is among those that want these lovebirds to end their rift and come back together as they once were.

Justin's mum, Pattie Mallette, publicly declared on Today's Show which normally holds every Thursday, that Selena is a "sweetheart" and of a positive influence to his son.

Speaking to Today's host, Savannah Guthrie, she said;

"I think Selena is a sweetheart, and what ever they decide is great. Its tough letting go and letting our kids make the mistakes, they need to make."

Pattie has been urging Justin 18 to reconcile with Selena 20, however Selena doesn't want to be associated with the crowd Justin has been hanging out with lately as she thinks that they are not to be trusted.
