Chief Adenuga Fulfilled His Promise

Dr Mike Adenuga, chairman of Globacom Limited, kept to his words when he pledge to give the Super Eagles team cash gift if they bring home the trophy and true to his words he did just that.

Dr. Adenuga handed a cheque #160m to the Super Eagles team on Tuesday night at the banquet hall of his residence in Maitama, Abuja.

He commended the chief coach, Stephen Keshi for a great job and his committment to the team, and announced that a Range Rover SUV and Toyota Camry will be presented to the coach.

In response to this kind gesture, the Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo said;
"I want to thank you very much on behalf of the team, you made a pledge to us just on Monday morning, and here we are on Tuesday night for the redemption of the pledge. We thank you for everything you have done for the Nigeria football; we tahnk you for being the No 1 supporter of the Super Eagles. The financial support you have given us, will go a long way to motivate us".
The happy Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi thankd Dr. Adenuga for his support for football across Africa and that henceforth Super Eagles have become the children of Dr Adenuga because of the massive support he has given the Nigerian football.
